Use a Pneumatic Forklift
Pneumatic forklifts are common in shipping and warehouse operations. Also called pump trucks or pallet trucks, they are used to transport materials and products around on wooden pallets utilizing metal forks mounted on a wheeled counterweight. The counterweight has a pump that could lift the forks off the ground. A pallet truck is intended to be operated by a single person.
Pallet trucks must be operated carefully to avoid loss of control while lifting heavy loads. Equipment must be inspected before operating. Clear the wheels area of any obstacle. Make certain that the handle can turn smoothly. The pallet should be carefully stacked to be able to guarantee that nothing would fall off during transportation.
On the end of the pallet truck's handle, squeeze the level situated on the inside of the metal loop to lower the forks and release the air in the pump. The forks could then be pushed into the slots of the pallet. The forks should be at the center to be able to guarantee even distribution of the pallet's weight across them. Raise the forks from the ground by pumping the pneumatic lift's handle until the pallet has completely cleared the ground. Do not lift the pallet very high or the forklift could unbalance.
Pull on the handle and then drag it behind you if you want to move the pallet. It is dangerous to push the pallet in front of you since the thrust could cause it to lose control. Slowly take turns and don't try to stop suddenly. Stop slowly, squeeze the lever, and the forks will lower to the ground. Finally, remove the forks from the pallet by pulling them out. Return the pallet truck to its permanent place.
