Established in 1920, FM GRU Tower Cranes started as a family company within the Northern Italy's biggest industrial location. In the 1950s, when the farming economy was evolving into a manufacturing and industrial economy, the company was working in the metal structural sector and welded construction industries. FMgru was involved in building pylons to convey electricity, bridges for roads, various types of presses, forklifts, farming equipments and prefabrication molds.
The company started crane production during the year 1963. Over time, the business pooled all of its resources into this one activity. The target of this streamlining was to reach the highest specialization level in the area of lifting.
Product Line
FMgru now makes and sells 4 different series of tower cranes. These machines are engineered and designed for a variety of uses and there are available models which could cover all construction needs.
Several units offer really flexible lifting options for companies who are constructing private houses and small buildings. Self-erecting cranes offer 22 to 40 meters jib range and have 1200 to 4000 kg capacity.
Other units comprise topless tower cranes. These cranes have 30 to 65 meters jib range and a running capacity of 1800 to 6000 kg. The fast erecting tower cranes are user friendly and really adaptable. They are suitable for minimizing interferences when there are many cranes working in the same building site.
Saddle-jib tower cranes provide a jib range of 58 to 80 meters. They have a running capacity of 6000 kg to 12000 kg. There are regular tower cranes that have no over sail restriction and are suitable for any construction or building project.
The Fdr56Luffing-jib cranes have 50 meter jibs and are equipped with 12000 kg capacity. These cranes are specially designed to work in restricted locations and on high-rise projects where buildings are located near each other.
