Lull Telehandlers
Ever since 1959, Lull has been producing telehandlers. Their equipment have been made for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This particular system provides a lot more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you complete your needs, while being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are really important, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
To be able to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made like winches, booms, and rotating fork carriages, to allow the forklift to place materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads in the center of upper floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and engineered all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, some improvements have been made. Like for example, load-reach management devices could automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
Once the load is being placed into position, the memory will compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is a warning system or an important lock-up device which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
