Telescopic forklifts
Telescopic forklifts offer height and versatility. These units are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm that extends over the top of the truck. The crane, or arm, is known as a telescopic boom. The boom enables the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the cargo to great heights. Regular lift trucks can not move the cargo away from and towards the forklift cab, whereas a telescopic forklift could allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is normally utilized in agriculture and construction. It is better for applications where greater lift and control is needed.
A forklift carton clamp attachments are better in cases requiring high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings that enable the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when picking up a load. It comes with a backrest that protects the loads from damage.
A sleep sheet forklift would normally utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't utilize pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forklift forks. This type of system is handy for intra-corporate deliveries and for overseas shipments.
A man basket is a lift platform designed specially to raise employees. The basket attaches to the forks on the forklift, held in with a chain or strap that is to be secured directly to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the personnel from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
