End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are well known in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have superior performance features that are quite similar to sit-down electric lift truck models.
These forklift units are ideal for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space needed to utilize these machines are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck requirements. These machinery are an ideal option for applications that require regular on and off access, because their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
Numerous companies utilized a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines could arrange finished goods on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers simple and safe retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for those who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not require yet in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the machinery. Telescoping forks are mounted to the out-rigging and can move up and down. The forks also have a hydraulic setup which enables the driver to pick up the load and move it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only gives more balance to the whole load, but makes it very easy for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic blades swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle which is less than 10 feet across without difficulty, as long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
