Genie telescopic S-booms have working heights of 14.20 meters to 40.15 meters and a horizontal reach of between 9.65 meters and 24.38 meters. Compared with other aerial work platforms, telescoping booms have a much greater range of horizontal reach. Genie telescopic booms are designed with consideration to being able to access tight places during industrial and construction jobs. They are also known for their ability to rapidly maneuver through a job site with great drive speed and traction. The platform turns 160° hydraulically and can stay level through the whole range. Front-entry platforms are available from 1.83 meters to 2.44 meters and come with 227 kilogram to 272 kilogram capacity for tools and operators. Continuous, 360° rotating turntables provide operators easy, quick positioning.
The Z-135/70 unit comes outfitted with a Jib-Extend, that is a telescoping jib. It extends from 3.66 meters to 6.1 meters. This particular unit could also reach 110° vertically to give the user the ability to reach tasks that were previously unreachable by traditional jibs. A secondary reverse-articulating boom on the Z-80/60 model gives the user 8.83 meters of up and over reach. This particular feature enables up and over reaching tasks to be done with zero front arm swing.
The Fast Mast System built by Genie allows for time to be saved when both primary and secondary booms platform needs to either be lowered or lifted without needing to lower the secondary boom. The Fast Mast system enables both booms to be fully elevated at the same time. Both of Genie Fast Mast System's features reduces the time required for users to descend and ascend, increasing both effectiveness and productivity.
